Employee stories: From India to Sweden

Moving from India to Sweden has been a big change for me, both professionally and personally. It’s given me the opportunity to experience a new country, a different culture and a new way of working.

One of the things that stood out to me quite quickly was the focus on work-life balance and collaboration. People genuinely listen to each other’s ideas, and I felt included in conversations and decision-making from day one.

The working culture in Sweden has been one of the biggest differences I’ve noticed. I’ve found it open, polite and inclusive, and there’s a real sense that everyone’s contribution is valued.

Getting used to a different way of working has been part of the experience, but having supportive colleagues around me has helped me settle in and find my place.

Moving from India to Sweden has given me the chance to experience something completely different, while continuing my career at Columbus.

It’s been a chance to experience a new culture, meet new people and see a different side of Columbus, all while continuing to develop professionally.
